Job Description / Information**


Oversees, plans and performs timely and appropriate maintenance, installation and rearrangement of equipment and/or machinery and ensures company compliance with various regulatory guidelines


+ Plans, inspects and performs on-going repair, preventive maintenance and maintenance related activities.

+ Plans, coordinates and provides technical assistance for continuous improvement activities.

+ Will be required to work from machinery manuals and/or schematics.

+ Will be required to comply with documentation procedures/requirements.

+ Will work from verbal and written instructions.

+ Will train others on maintenance activities and/or safety/regulatory compliance issues.

+ Will test, repair and maintain a wide range of new and older pieces of equipment/machinery using considerable independent judgment to ensure quality, correct parts and/or proper procedures are being used.

+ Will troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems, hardware and software to diagnose and repair production and production related equipment.

+ Will update and maintain maintenance records and procedures in our EAM (enterprise asset management) software.

+ Will coach and develop subordinates.

+ Will coordinate outside contractors.

+ Will create project plans for major upgrades and repairs.

+ May develop preventative maintenance procedures.

+ May assign and prioritize various maintenance tasks.

+ May oversee purchasing and inventory control for machine parts/supplies.


**Minimum Qualifications**


+ High School diploma

+ 2 year technical school degree, apprenticeship preferred.

+ 5+ years of experience manufacturing maintenance

+ Advanced blueprint/schematic reading.

+ Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.), power tools and test equipment.

+ Advanced math, measuring and writing skills.

+ Excellent analytical skills.

+ Effective interpersonal communication skills.

+ Electronic/electrical experience.

+ Hydraulic/pneumatic experience

+ Demonstrated mechanical problem solving skills.

+ Must be proficient at computer systems.

+ Must understand Lock out/Tag out procedures.

+ Welding and fabrication experience preferred.

+ Preventive maintenance procedures and systems experience.
